Former Hog Jessica Jackson Shines Overseas.

By: David Swisher

Jessica Jackson’s name is etched into Arkansas Razorback history, and now it’s being written across Europe and beyond. The Jacksonville native, a four-year Razorback and three-time All-SEC selection, has transformed her game into a global career, proving that her basketball journey was only just beginning when she left Fayetteville.

Jackson, who remains fourth on the Razorbacks’ all-time scoring list and third in rebounding, has carved out an impressive path overseas. Since graduating from Arkansas, she has suited up for clubs in Switzerland, Greece, Israel, and Italy, leaving an impact everywhere she’s gone. Among her most decorated stops was with PAOK Thessalonikis during the 2018-19 season, when she averaged 18.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 54 percent from the field. Her dominant performance earned her the Eurobasket All-Greek Forward of the Year Award, as she helped lead PAOK to the Greek League Finals.

Jackson continued to thrive in Greece with OA Chania, where she averaged 18.5 points and seven rebounds per game while earning Co-Newcomer of the Year Honors in the All-Greek League. Her consistency as a versatile forward with size and skill has made her one of the most sought-after imports in international basketball.

Most recently, Jackson has been making her mark in Mexico’s BSNF league with the Monarcas. In a recent game, she showcased her trademark efficiency, scoring 22 points on 80 percent shooting while knocking down 3-of-4 shots from beyond the arc. She also added five rebounds and three assists, a stat line that reflects her all-around contributions on the floor.

For Jackson, the overseas grind has become more than just a career—it’s a stage where she continues to elevate her game while representing Arkansas basketball with pride. Her ability to adapt to different leagues and maintain elite production underscores the talent Razorback fans saw during her college days.

Though she plays far from Bud Walton Arena now, Jackson’s success is a reminder of the growing influence of Arkansas basketball alumni worldwide. And as long as she keeps filling box scores overseas, Jessica Jackson’s story will remain one of perseverance, impact, and international accomplishment.
